Today British Airways (BA) will launch the first long haul, all-business-class service flight between New York and London City Airport (LCY). This is a very interesting move from BA and here are the advantages I see emerging from this new service.
1. They’re flying in and out of LCY, which is ideally located in East London -- home to
2. The airport is so small, passengers can check-in for their flight just 15 minutes before departure.
3. On the twice-daily route, BA will be using two uniquely configured Airbus A318s with just 32 fully flat beds and in-flight dining prepared by Roast restaurant, based at London’s Borough Market.
